Mountain Bike
Mountain biking also plays an important part. Marked circuits for all levels are available. Some of them are accessible via the Vagnys ski lift. The descent from Fer à Cheval to Samoëns is a classic not to be missed. Other ski lifts in the Grand Massif are open during the summer period, in Morillon, the Carroz and in Flaine. This gives access to 600km of marked mountain bike trails. Every year in July the Raid Sizeret takes place. This fairly recent event is now an important event not to be missed in the village. The Raid Sizeret takes place just before the famous Grand Massif VTTticîme, which takes place the last weekend in July each year.
